With highlights including pole position and a sensational drive from the back of the grid for Mark Winterbottom, last weekend's racing at Winton Motor Raceway was certainly memorable for Ford Performance Racing.
But it is the bad luck that will mark it out for FPR, which suffered punctures, punt-offs and a points ambush as rivals HRT and Triple Eight benefited from the squad's misfortunes.
Almost 0.4s faster than the rest of the field in qualifying, Winterbottom looked to have the weekend sewn up before race one. A puncture on lap two put an end to that though, and team-mate Steve Richards narrowly avoided lap one chaos to finish fifth.
